Open Cell Foam (Part #99):

Uncovered standard foam, charcoal colored, open cell foam, radiolucent, fire retardant, economical and useful for general positioning.

Open Cell Foam with Clear Vinyl Cover (Part #99-8):

Standard, charcoal colored, open cell foam with a clear vinyl cover to improve durability, cleanability, and contamination control.

Closed Cell Foam (Part #99-UF)

Ultrafoam: Firm, closed cell foam, charcoal colored, resists fluid absorption/contamination, and is fire retardant. Ultrafoam construction is ideal for firm support during positioning applications.

*Please note: Covered items (-8, -20 or -SCB) are not recommended for low KVP techniques as the edges/seams may show. Items composed of Ultrafoam (-UF) that have a height higher than 3 inches will have a glue seam that may attenuate.
