MedVac Immobilization System:

A unique way to immobilize pediatric patients up to 4 years old. The MedVac Immobilization System consists of a vacuum splint which is flexible until the air is pumped out of it; It then becomes rigid, holding the patient in place. This system is designed for diagnostic imaging procedures and holds the patient still while a scan is being performed, allowing medical professionals to get a clear image in the first scan. The system is available in two different sizes to maximize compatibility.

Huggers:

Our Huggers are units consisting of foam inserts with nylon straps to provide womb-like warmth and comfort for infants during diagnostic imaging procedures. We offer three units suited for different procedures; For example, the Child Hugger with Table Adapter Kit (Part 9013) has a radiused base to fit perfectly in a CT table.

Pediatric Foam Positioning Aids:

We offer a foam cradle in two sizes designed to support animals lying supine during procedures. We also offer a cradle to support the animal’s head when lying prone and to allow AP-PA lateral imaging views. For animals lying down during echocardiography procedures, we offer a mattress with a cutout to allow easier access to the animal.
